Autani and LG team up to create an all-inclusive wireless network for smart lighting solutions

The latest scoop to gain fresh waves of attention by industry analysts is that of Autani and LG collaborating to offer highly effective wireless smart lighting solutions. As per the recent reports, LG Electronics, USA, a subsidiary of LG Electronics, Inc., has signed an agreement with Autani, LLC, a leading automation provider focusing on reducing global energy consumption, to create a platform that will enable energy management optimization in residential and commercial complexes.

Building owners of late, are under tremendous pressure to reduce energy wastage, limit energy consumption, and submit reports of the same to the concerned authorities. Building managers are apparently encountering a challenge in terms of conserving and managing energy without compromising on the comfort and luxury factor for existing building occupants. The requirement of a flawless, convenient digital transformation is on the cards, state most building owners.

Recognizing the necessity for smart lighting solutions, LG and Autani have joined forces to integrate the former’s wireless controls with the latter’s software platform. In effect, with this partnership, LG’s ZigBee HA wireless control enabled LED fixtures will be incorporated in Autani's EnergyCenter™ software platform, that will help create a robust wireless network system. This is expected to help develop buildings embedded with smart lighting and other energy saving technologies that will help monitor real-time information regarding energy conservation and management.

The integration of Autani's EnergyCenter™ platform and LG’s ZigBee HA wireless control-enabled LED fixtures will also help consumers reap the benefits of energy saving from occupancy sensing, optimized lighting, and daylight harvesting. In addition, the deal also empowers LG to resell Autani’s entire control equipment line. This partnership will thus accredit LG as the only manufacturer to deliver a complete range of energy management systems and lighting controls to consumers, all under one roof.

With this collaboration, Autani and LG aim to achieve maximum reduction of energy consumption, effective energy management, and a high level of sustainability. LG’s top personnel revealed that this alliance will optimize smart solutions for their clientele, by helping consumers integrate LED lighting with smart building controls for convenient energy management and data monitoring on one seamless network. This partnership will also positively influence global smart lighting industry, state experts.

It has been revealed that LG and Autani will both depict their robust wireless network solution at the LG Electronics' booth in LightFair International 2017.

For the uninitiated, LightFair International is the world’s largest architectural and commercial trade lighting show held every year in various locations across the globe. This year, in addition to the aforementioned wireless network solution, the show will also have Autani showcasing its fixture conversion kit named e>kit. This kit has been efficiently designed to convert fluorescent fixtures to LED fixtures, thereby paving the way for providing optimized LED lighting and saving on a considerable amount of energy.
