Barneys to launch a new cannabis lifestyle shop called The High End

Barneys New York Inc., the US-based luxury department store chain, is reportedly launching a head shop named The High End, to be debuting in March this year within its Beverly Hills store. The High End will be offering extravagant cannabis products, CBD (Cannabidiol)-infused beauty products, marijuana-inspired jewelry, a $1,475 pot grinder and several other offerings.

Reportedly, with the latest move, Barneys New York is diving into the cannabis world, taking its wide product portfolio to a higher level. The new cannabis lifestyle store will cater to the customers of Barneys who lead a cannabis-influenced way of life.

Daniella Vitale, President & CEO, Barneys New York, was quoted saying that Barneys has been leading shifts in lifestyle and culture and cannabis is its latest venture. A huge number of Barney’s customers that have included cannabis in their lifestyles will be catered well with extraordinary services & products of The High End, added Vitale.

As per a report by Forbes, the new store will be situated on the fifth floor of Barney’s Beverly Hills store, with many of the product offerings available online at Barneys.com. The latest move also marks Barney’s collaboration with Beboe, the high-class cannabis brand, that will contribute to the exquisite collection of accessories at the store.

The High End is anticipated to sell many exclusive items from upscale brands including Lorenzi Milano’s horn lighters, rolling papers by Devambez, Laboratorio Pesaro’s ashtrays, Giobagnara’s leather ashtrays & lighters, Ginger Brown’s storage boxes, Shine’s gold rolling papers and Caleb Siemmon’s custom-built blown glass pipes.

Apparently, Barney’s new move emerges in conjunction with the growing cannabis industry, where legal marijuana is likely to hit sales of about $75 billion by 2030 and may later become a larger market than soda.

According to industry analysts, more executives from retail giants are gradually stepping into the cannabis space that can potentially reach around $194 billion in value if the drug is legalized globally.
