Coca-Cola’s Bluetooth-powered soda machine to help personalize drinks

The Coca-Cola Company has apparently launched its brand-new soda machine, the Coca-Cola Freestyle 9100, which would reportedly use Bluetooth connectivity to enable customers to concoct their own beverages. As per reliable sources, the latest machine would allow users to connect via the Freestyle mobile app as well.

Sources reveal that the latest beverage dispenser has been equipped with highly impressive features that are being described as not only contemporary but as futuristic. Moreover, the Freestyle platform constitutes of not-yet-activated features along the likes of optical sensors, audio capability, and a new equipment option that would consequentially support the addition of beverages that are not available on the platform as of now.

For the record, in 2009, Coca-Cola Freestyle had unveiled its novel touch screen soda machines predominantly to cater to college campuses, eateries, and other beverage-loving establishments. The touch screen soda machines were reportedly stocked with around 200 drink options, cite reliable sources.

Speaking on the characteristics of the new soda machine, the Vice President and General Manager of Freestyle, Chris Hellmann was quoted stating that the customization and choices of the consumers are not fads and are here to stay. He further stated that the firm is focused on ensuring the Coca-Cola Freestyle platform remains contemporary and continues to offer more beverages demanded by customers.

Reportedly, Coca-Cola aims to roll out the extravagant machine across the United States by next year. This is in addition to the firm’s ambitious plans to implement a new Freestyle operating system across all prevailing soda machines. The Coca-Cola Freestyle 9100 would be inaugurated at the National Restaurant Association tradeshow in Chicago this weekend, cite sources familiar with the development.

As per a statement released by the firm, there are more than 50,000 Coca-Cola Freestyle units which dispense approximately 14 million drinks each day around the world.
