Walmarts mattress brand Allswell unveils a new retail strategy

The brand will start a cross-country tour starting with New York and will later be heading to major cities to gain new customers and feedback.

U.S. retail giant, Walmart Inc. has recently announced that its online mattress and bedding brand, Allswell will be rolling out its mini-stores in the U.S. Sources close to the matter state that Allswell Tiny Home showroom will start a cross-country tour, beginning in New York, and will later be heading to major cities to introduce the brand to newer customers and gain insightful feedback.

Reportedly, other online mattress brands such as Purple, Leesa, Tuft & Needle have also recently expanded distribution through retailers like West Elm, Target and Mattress Firm. Sources claim that expansion helps stores and pop-ups to acquire new customers, raise brand awareness and encourage consumer spending.

Reports from CNN state that e-commerce firm Casper, which moved into the market by shipping mattresses to customers’ home, last year announced plans to roll out 200 stores of its own. Philip Krim, CEO, Casper, speaking on the move said that it will pave the way for their firm to help educate consumers.

For the record, in 2018, Walmart launched Allswell, the retailer's first own digital brand, which until now was only accessible via Walmart's main site and on Hayneedle and Jet.

Commenting on the recent move, Arlyn Davich, President, Allswell Homes, said that their firm is looking forward to growing its brand in all possible ways. She said that the country wide tour would enable the company to test out different markets and represent Allswell's mattress lineup and home and bedding sets.

Reliable sources suggest that shoppers willing to buy Allswell's products can visit the firm’s site at the Tiny Home for delivery and are encouraged to take photos to post on social media for creating awareness.
