Allied Wallet brings 1,000 live merchants onboard in Thailand

Allied Wallet, a globally leading provider of payment gateway solutions, has reportedly announced to have brought over 1,000 live merchants onboard its platform in Thailand after opening a new office in Bangkok to support the growing demand for e-commerce.

The support from Thai government had seen a steady increase in the adoption of e-commerce in Thailand. The government’s “Thailand 4.0” policy assigns a budget to build a broadband internet service network for villages throughout the country.

Thailand, having one of the largest e-commerce markets throughout Southeast Asia, needed support for its existing and new online businesses. Allied Wallet and its Founder Andy Khawaja opened a new office in Bangkok to further support these business owners and to fulfill their need for secure payment processing.

Allied Wallet has recently brought over 1,000 merchants onboard its platform, particularly since it accepts and processes the payment options used across the region such as TrueMoney, Easy2Pay, 123 and PAYSBUY.

The online merchants and shoppers of Thailand are fulfilling their e-commerce needs with Allied Wallet apart from these other payment options such as bank type payments, e-wallet type solutions, cash-based payment options and other prominent payment options.

Dr. Andy Khawaja, Founder, Allied Wallet, reportedly stated that the company is thrilled to provide support to the growth of e-commerce in the region. Khawaja further added that this new milestone achievement in Thailand is a proof that the company is moving in the right direction and is pleased to receive support from Thailand.

The company expects to witness a continued trend of development and success in Thailand and look forward to welcome new entrepreneurs and become one of the leading payment providers in Southeast Asia.
