ATI Physical Therapy granted three-year accreditation by NCQA

ATI Physical Therapy, America’s largest provider of single-branded outpatient physical therapy, has reportedly been granted a three-year accreditation from the NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance).

This accreditation was awarded for the company’s ability to fulfill top-quality healthcare standards through its procedures and policies. The achievement is an outcome of the commitment and internal investment by leaders of ATI Physical Therapy to execute best methods throughput the business.

Ray Wahl, the Chief Operating Officer of ATI Physical Therapy expressed that the accreditation showcases the company’s commitment to offering quality care through its expert clinicians. The COO added that it helps making ATI a greater prospect for new clinicians looking for career opportunities.

Wahl cited that the ATI falls under a limited set of healthcare organizations that are accredited by NCQA after two years of meticulous and steady work from the company’s credentialing team.

ATI hires close to 2,000 clinicians who need credentialing. The credentialing team of the company works to assure that this is a smooth process for employees and every individual fulfils the rigorous quality benchmarks set by the company and the payers with whom it contracts to offer services.

For those unversed, NCQA is a nationally recognized, non-profit organization committed to evaluating and reporting on the quality of healthcare and the 3-year accreditation is the longest term granted by the organization.

ATI Physical Therapy has team members in over 900 locations across 25 states. With results from over 2.5 million distinct patient cases, the company is progressing in the industry by establishing quality benchmarks that provide predictable outcomes for patients with MSK (musculoskeletal) issues.

From athletic training support and preventive workplace services to online physical therapy through the online platform CONNECT™, the company serves across a broad range for issues related to MSK.
