Carat secures USD 10 Mn to launch MOOD tea across Woolworths stores

Media agency Carat has reportedly raised USD 10 million in pro-bono media inventory to launch MOOD tea across Woolworths stores. The launch comes following the announcement of the collaboration between the retail giant and MOOD tea.

The campaign, slated to launch in August, is devised by The Monkeys to increase brand awareness of the first-of-its-kind purposeful product fostering new customers to try the distinct MOOD tea flavors.

All profits obtained from the product sales will go towards financing youth mental health initiatives, with the product having been designed and backed by over 1,000 companies throughout the industry.

The campaign is slated to be released across cinema, TV, radio, digital, outdoor retail, print, and social channels. Carat, as the media agency partner of MOOD, was able to raise over USD 10 million in inventory due to the generosity of more than 30 media owners.

Under the campaign, MOOD tea has collaborated with Cartology to operate a competition, encouraging the marketing, creative, and media industry to post a selfie with MOOD tea across a Woolworths store and upload it on social media tagging @moodgoods.au and using the hashtag #SipSelflessly.

The three most creative submissions will win USD 1,000 Woolworth’s gift card and a one-year supply of MOOD tea. The competition starts from June 27th until July 14th, 2022. All posts will be judged on their creativity and winners will be declared by the MOOD judging panel on July 19th.

The campaign is backed by Are Media, ACM, ATN, ARN Radio, Cartology, Broadsheet, Foxtel, Clear Hayes, JCDecaux, GOA, Living Image Media, Jessica Hanson Stylist, Meta, M&C Saatchi Media Sports & Entertainment, Mamamia, Network Nine + WIN, Motio, Network Ten/Paramount, Network Seven + Prime, oOh! Media, Nova, Pedestrian, Patrick Moran Photography, SBS, QMS, SCA Radio, Shopper Media, Scentre Group, Tonic Media Network, The Guardian, Val Morgan, Yahoo, and TorchMedia.
