Social commerce platform CommentSold has recently announced the acquisition of Social Retail Success (SRS). Following the deal, the advanced business analytics suite of SRS will help retailers optimize sales, manage customer relationships, and plan and manage inventory to increase profitability on the CommentSold™ platform.
CommentSold has reportedly revealed that Tim Gallagher, SRS founder, has joined CommentSold as the Director of Retail Strategy. Terms of the recent agreement have not been disclosed.
According to Brandon Kruse, CEO and Founder of CommentSold, the company has been placing greater emphasis on empowering retailers to expand their businesses. The recent deal will help address this and enable its partners to accelerate success with an enhanced analytics suite of SRS, which is a strong complement to other capabilities it offers to retailers.
The turnkey analytics suite of SRS can enhance the features and tools offered via CommentSold. With the help of this suite powering larger-volume retailers on the CommentSold platform, businesses can identify opportunities to attain new customers and drive profitability and sales growth. Most of these large-volume boutiques, however, have already used SRS to surface insights.
On the other hand, CommentSold allows live and social selling across media networks, branded mobile apps, and merchants’ own websites for online retailers. The platform enables retailers to automate payments, invoicing, order fulfillment, inventory management, and marketing, among other business functions.
For the record, SRS can generate over 38 daily reports across inventory planning, sales, inventory management, profitability, and customer management. The suite can also provide business intelligence including inventory, sales, customer activity analyses, cost-savings, and trend reports to merchants. It is planning to soon include a customer lifetime value analysis in its report range.
Notably, these reports will be available for enterprise retailers that use the CommentSold platform through a single BI (business intelligence) dashboard as well as work directly with the CommentSold account strategist to leverage opportunities identified by the SRS suite.
