Coveted nail brand Nailboo secures Sally Beauty as first retail partner

Nailboo, one of the flagship brands of beauty and wellness company Underlining, has reportedly secured Sally Beauty as its first retailer partner.

Underlining CEO and Co-Founder Razvan Romanescu mentioned that this is a huge achievement for the brand. It is pleased to collaborate with a retailer like Sally Beauty which focuses on high-quality DIY products.

Nailboo was created with a simple objective to produce salon-level products and make them available in at-home kits that are easy to use. These kits are quick and affordable providing long-lasting manicures for a fraction of the cost of the salon procedures. All products are vegan friendly, cruelty-free, and non-toxic.

With top-grossing shades like Dark Dreams, Velvet Lust, and Cloudberry, Nailboo has acquired more than 400,000 customers since its launch and has grown by more than 100% every year since its founding

This year, the brand continues to venture into several new categories focusing on new consumers. It plans to expand the brand to make it an industry norm.

With a cult-level following and tremendous growth, the direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand looked to increase its consumer base through in-store purchases.

Nailboo is now available in more than 2,700 stores across Canada and the U.S. with three top-selling products: individual Dip Powder Shades, the Nailboo Dip Starter Kit, and the recently launched Max Gloss Polish.

Maryann Herskowitz, Sally Beauty’s Group Vice President of Merchandising stated that consumers are preferring DIY beauty products and are upgrading their nail and hair management skills at home.

Herskowitz added that the company strives to match customer interests by offering the latest and innovative products.

Nailboo intends to unveil more SKUs in Sally Beauty and will be increasing its retail footprint between this year and next year.

For the record, Underlining creates distinct products across several beauty verticals. Apart from Nailboo, the company has brands like TatBrow and HIDE under its umbrella.
