DocPanel to use icometrix’s portfolio to boost AI imaging capability

icometrix has recently announced that its icobrain portfolio has been selected by DocPanel for enhancing its AI imaging capability and modifying the market for patients with traumatic brain injury.

The new collaboration – which marks the largest Belgian mission ever in the United States – was launched during the official economic mission of the Belgium Government in the U.S. led by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium.

The program focuses particularly on areas like pharmaceuticals, health, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence, in which icometrix will continue exploring new opportunities parallelly.

Owing to this arrangement, DocPanel marketplace users will now be able to access icometrix’s AI software.

This will also allow them to provide volumetric quantifications of brain MRI such as diffusion tensor MRI (DTI), along with CT for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and different forms of dementia. 

Speaking on the ground-breaking partnership with icometrix, Philip Templeton, MD FACR, Founder, and Chief Innovation Officer of DocPanel, stated that icobrain would help DocPanel offer a comprehensive solution to imaging centers, hospital clients, and law offices.

As per Dirk Smeets, PhD, VP of Clinical Applications, icobrain helps radiologists and associated physicians make informed decisions for patients with neurological disorders.

DocPanel will ensure icobrain reaches more specialized radiologists in the United States, which will ultimately result in a greater level of diagnosis and follow-up on neurological disorders, with an inclusive clinical package comprising of CT and MRI products for better patient care. 

Dr. Alyssa Watanabe, DocPanel Radiologist, has emphasized on the ability of the icometrix portfolio of AI software catering to neuroimaging needs, in enhancing efficiency throughout clinical practice.

Dr. Watanabe further claimed that the quantitative analytics added weight to her reports and elevated job satisfaction in delivering quality interpretations.
