Global fashion retailer H&M Group has reportedly announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to enhance customer experience.
Under the collaboration, H&M will use the extensive data analytics capabilities of Google Cloud to secure global infrastructure and further improve supply enablement.
Google Cloud will team up with H&M Group to create an enterprise data framework comprising a data product, core data platform, and advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
This will comprise establishing a new data network to enable accessibility of all types of events and data from several sources including online, in-store, suppliers, and its brand ecosystem.
As the collaboration flourishes, the relationship will transition to increased maximization of internal supply chains along with advanced customer experiences across multiple sales channels, from e-commerce to physical stores. This alliance will further allow the development of AI and data science capabilities throughout the business of H&M Group.
Alan Boehme, Chief Technology Officer at H&M Group stated that the company is expediting digitalization as it believes in analytic and tech-powered sustainable growth.
For the record, Google Cloud can accelerate an organization’s ability to transform its business digitally. Customers across 200 territories and countries consider Google Cloud as their preferred partner to foster growth and address their most crucial business problems.
Meanwhile, Indonesian state-owned enterprise Bio Farma has collaborated with Fitbit, Google Cloud, and ConnectedLife for a new digital program dubbed Preventive Care Medwell. This initiative supports the government’s Healthy Indonesia vision.
As part of the initiative, the organizations have created a first-of-its-kind personalized population health and wellness virtual platform ConnectedLife with Fitbit to encourage Indonesians to adopt a healthier lifestyle and prevent chronic diseases.
The new platform is developed on Google Cloud’s scalable, open and secure-by-design data services and infrastructure. It enables users to sync their health information with the ConnectedLife mobile and web dashboard using the Fitbit application.
