Well-known medical practice management organization, Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) has reportedly joined forces with WhiteSpace Health to release a new medical group analytics tool, MGMA DataDiscovery. The tool is apparently designed to review, analyze as well as predict the physician practice performance.

The prominent features of MGMA DataDiscovery comprise configurable data visualizations, practice performance comparison to annually collected benchmarks of MGMA, ongoing data surveillance as well as automated alerts, tap to drill down competencies spanning from the trend to claim levels, and assistance from the MGMA Data Strategy Division. The tool will also enable organizations, operating in all sizes to automate the key performance indicators (KPI) reporting, whilst benefiting from the business insights extracted from their financial, operational, and telehealth data.

For the uninitiated, the Intelligent guided analytics platform from WhiteSpace Health, MGMA's technology partner, offers powerful as well as highly responsive insights with information about decision making to help medical practices in maintaining optimal performance, improved patient experience, and business transformation.

The CEO of WhiteSpace Health, Gautam Char, expressed excitement in announcing the company’s strategic partnership with MGMA and reportedly commented that the team was anticipating the collaboration in order to deliver actionable insights to drive sustained improvements in top-line performance. He further mentioned that the companies together would automate the delivery of the KPIs and the benchmarking data to support the strategic planning and operational efforts by building visibility to revenue leakage as well as operational improvement opportunities.

For the record, MGMA, the largest dataset provider in the healthcare industry for the past 90 years, provides an unmatched suite of intelligence and data tools in order to aid medical practices in optimizing their performance.

Sources also confirm that the novel MGMA DataDiscovery tool will join several other valuable tools from MGMA, such as DataDive Spotlight, MGMA Stat, MGMA's Annual data reports, and the MGMA DataDive, which is the industry’s leading benchmark data that features responses from over 6,700 organizations in 2021.
