Santex acquires U.S. online retailer Parentgiving for market expansion

Italy-based personal care and incontinence product manufacturer Santex SPA has reportedly acquired Parentgiving Inc., America’s top-rated e-commerce retailer of geriatric care products.

Both companies finalized the deal in June 2020 and over the past year, they have spent time on expanding Parentgiving’s proprietary Dry Direct product portfolio for market expansion in the United States.

President of Santex SPA Alessandra Castiglioni reportedly stated that the acquisition of Parentgiving will allow the company to introduce its premium personal care and incontinence products in the U.S. market.

She further added that Parentgiving equips Santex with direct-to-consumer capabilities, thereby widening its consumer reach and propelling the business in America.

The collaboration unifies the growing direct-to-consumer model, which is highly popular among consumers, and the premium Italian performance & quality of Santex. Parentgiving will continue implementing its world-class customer service model and maintain its experienced management team.

David Spain, CEO of Parentgiving, has apparently stated that since 2008, the company has committed itself to help people offer quality care for their elderly parents, especially focusing on incontinence demands.

He further added that the manufacturing craftsmanship, product innovation, and expertise of Santex will empower Parentgiving. It will enable the company to offer a wide range of premium incontinence products under its brand Dry Direct, which according to Mr. Spain, has witnessed exponential growth over the past two years.

He also stated that Parentgiving is proud of carrying the best brands of nutrition, incontinence, long-lasting medical equipment, and high-grossing products like mobility, furniture, and lifts. The company will continue to expand its marquee brand Dry Direct in more product categories.

Santex is a renowned partner of the Italian healthcare system and uses its unprecedented experience and capabilities to develop consistently and offer the finest services in personal care and incontinence management. The consumer insights and sales intelligence of Parentgiving from American consumers will assist Santex in shaping its research, capital investments, and product development.
