Taliun launches MIPS reporting solution Pledge to serve clinicians

Taliun, a digital technology solutions company, has recently launched Pledge, its MIPS (merit-based incentive payment system) reporting solution. This merit-based payment system has been developed for value-based reimbursement that comes under the QPP (Quality Payment Program) to drive innovation in clinical activities.

The Physician Quality Payment Program provides different options for the clinicians to participate as a group, virtual group, and individual. Additionally, there is end-to-end date integration with the leading EHRs.

Taliun, which is well-known in the field of data engineering, has developed Pledge to provide clinicians with quality reporting. The solution will allow MIPS experts to address queries as well as assist them in the entire filing process. MIPS is capable of measuring performances across four areas, i.e. cost, quality, care information advancement, and improvement activities. This payment system can offer more flexibility to the clinicians while reporting on procedures that can accurately prove their performances.

As per the statement made by Taliun’s CEO, Mehul Agarwal, Pledge will seamlessly aid in quality MIPS reporting for the company’s 2021 CMS Medicare submission as well as ensure ease of filing.

Furthermore, Pledge is expected to deploy the traditional MIPS reporting framework for the MIPS reporting 2021. The technology company provides clinicians with the options to choose the solution from APP (APM Performance Pathway) or MVP (MIPS Value Pathway) to ensure quality measurement. The MIPS performance period for eligible clinicians starts from 1st January to 31st December every year. They also can leverage the solution to report the collected data during the calendar year and submit it prior to 31st March of the following year.

MIPS has been witnessing a dynamic path over the years, with increased risks as well as shifting scoring weights. Under this payment system, the eligible clinicians are expected to be measured & assigned with a single MIPS CPS (composite performance score). The score will be awarded based on their performances in the 4 weighted performance categories.
