UST-Piktorlabs to help UNIQLO India launch ‘Shop From Home’ service

UST, a digital transformation solutions provider, and Piktorlabs, a product innovation lab of UST, have reportedly announced the development of an online e-Commerce platform solution. This platform has been designed for UNIQLO India to help launch the 'Shop From Home' service nationwide.

Over the last 20+ years, UST has been working with leading companies and clients to identify the core challenges and build disruptive solutions. It presently employs around 26,000 people across 25 countries.

As per the statement made by UST Piktorlabs’ Chief Executive Officer, Sreekumar Paramu, the company’s team is thrilled to assist UNIQLO India in rapidly capturing new demographics and converting browsers into long-term shoppers. This target is likely to be reached by leveraging its AI-powered and highly-matured VERA COMMERCE platform. This platform is capable of bringing a delightful in-store shopping experience to the digital stores. The AI-powered and visual search has also enabled it to improve order management, inventory management, and the entire shopper journey.

UNIQLO made its formal debut in India in 2019 and opened its 1st brick-and-mortar store in New Delhi. It is a brand of a Japanese retail holding company, Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. Due to the shifting preferences of consumers from in-store to online sales channels amid the pandemic, the company has been focusing on enhancing its online presence across India and boosting its product sales. Both Piktorlabs and UST have offered the 'Shop from Home' service built upon the VERA COMMERCE platform with the customized solutions, owing to their efficiency in developing and delivering secure digital solutions.

UNIQLO India’s spokesperson has reportedly cited that the company has been looking for partners that can scale its seamless online shopping service and enhance e-Commerce solutions in the near future, in response to the accelerating demand for its products across the region. It has also shown excitement towards partnering with UST's Piktorlabs to launch the 'Shop from Home' service.
