Wachter signs deal to bring PORTL hologram units in client locations

Wachter, Inc., a technology integrations company, has reportedly entered an agreement to put PORTL hologram units across its client locations.

PORTL hologram displays are enabled with AI, IoT, voice activations, touchscreens, facial recognition, and more, presenting life-size ambassadors, either live or prerecorded, and digital objects in life-like 4K for interactive user experiences. Potential use cases of the units include dynamic experiential branding activations, celebrity performances and appearances, virtual dressing rooms, and interactive wayfinding.

Notably, Wachter combines and develops next-generation technologies for retail customer engagement and extraction of meaningful data in real-time. The technology integrator also deploys single-site and large-scale projects through its dedicated teams for technology rollouts and other workforces nationwide to allow retailers to see positive ROI on tech investments.

For those unversed, PORTL has developed a self-contained, plug-and-play hologram unit, which has already been deployed across retail, entertainment, corporate communications, and other sectors over the world.

PORTL’s public activation partners include Chase Bank, Diageo, HBO, Netflix, T-Mobile, AT&T, and DHL. Usain Bolt, Kane Brown, Lewis Hamilton, Marshawn Lynch, and P. Diddy are also among the celebrities who use PORTL.

Moreover, the Los Angeles-based company has recently been honored with three awards at the CES 2022 Innovation Awards, as well as unveiled the PORTL M, its forthcoming smaller unit, on the Today Show.

According to Matt Tyler, Vice President of Strategic Innovation at Wachter, creating a memorable shopping destination and experience has been challenging for retailers. The recent company’s partnership with PORTL and Intel will help address such challenges by providing scalable, turn-key solutions that offer an engaging, one-of-a-kind, in-person encounter to shoppers.

David Nussbaum, CEO, and Inventor of PORTL has seemingly cited that Wachter is the company’s ideal partner that will bring its PORTL technology to some of the leading companies worldwide, given its extensive reach, trust they gained from biggest names in retail and beyond, and their reputation for precision and innovation.
